Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) is a leading cause of death among people in India. It varies from region to region. It turned out that in some regions in India this disease is more common than in others. Public wealth and urbanization have strong connection with CVD especially among women. Smoking, body mass index, high blood glucose ans systolic blood pressure were associated with public wealth and urban style of living. The outcome of CVD can be heart attack, stroke or cardiovascular death. It’s very important to target the areas where CVD is more common and start educational programs which will help to prevent and to reduce CVD among people who are in risk and in need.
If you want to learn more about CVD and a special research go to this website.
India Network Foundation wants to protect it’s members from CVD by offering an affordable visitor health insurance for all ages and especially for the older people and for people with pre-existing conditions such as high blood pressure, heart attack, urinary tract infection, stroke, etc.
Unfortunately, a lot of people try to save money and buy cheap insurance plan or don’t purchase any plan at all and than it can be too late. A couple of days ago we got a call from our member who bought a very basic insurance plan for his dad without any pre-existing conditions coverage. It turned out that his dad had some heart related issues and needed medical attention because of strong chest pain. They wanted to buy a better plan with full pre-existing coverage right away but that wasn’t possible because you cannot buy insurance when you’re already sick, no plan will cover that. If you buy visitor insurance plan without pre-existing conditions and your sickness was caused by pre-existing condition, that WILL NOT be covered.
India Network Services is a US-based company that administers visitor health insurance to tourists, students, temporary workers and their families. Visitor medical plans are offered for all age groups (0-99 years old) with both fixed coverage, comprehensive coverage and with or without pre-existing condition coverage.
